Why do you talk so funny?
It is true, I come from the glorious state of Wisconsin. I might have an accent to some. And I do love to wear cheese on my head. Maybe for your sake, you shouldn't get me started on the beauty of Wisconsin.
What type of music do you listen to?
Pretty much anything that makes you think. I love live music, especially acoustic. Band wise, some of my favorites are musicians are Bob Dylan, The David Crowder Band, and Sufjan Stevens.
What do you like to do for fun?
I am a very random person. I like to do anything adventurous and I love a good road trip. I also enjoy reading, drinking coffee, talking, listening, and discussing the important things in life along with spending countless hours with my beautiful wife. So in a nutshell, I love being around people and experiencing life with people.
Why do you work at a church?
Because I couldn't get into law school. Just kidding. I decided that I didn't want to go to law school. After college. there were many things that I still wanted to do. The two things that came up over and over was working with people and a desire to serve God.
During the summer of 2006 I felt God speaking to me about making change, but at the same time, I didn't know exactly what to do. Long story short, I realized God was calling me into ministry. Now I can't imagine doing anything else.
Why should I check out Temple Baptist Church?
Because like many other churches, the living God is manifesting himself in relationships here. I promise you, there is not a drought of people at Temple that want you to feel at home.
