Why do you talk so funny?
It is true, I come from the glorious state of Wisconsin. I might have an accent to some. And I do love to wear cheese on my head. Maybe for your sake, you shouldn't get me started on the beauty of Wisconsin.
What types of music do you listen to?
Pretty much anything that makes you think. I love live music, especially acustic. Lately I have been getting into emo but I am hesitant to say that because I don't want people to think I cry a lot:). Band wise, some of my favorites are the David Crowder Band, Shane & Shane, Derek Webb, Sufjan Stevens and Ben Harper.
What do you like to do for fun?
I am a very random person. I like to do anything adventurous and I love a good road trip. I also enjoy reading, drinking coffee, talking, listening, and discussing the important things in life. So in a nutshell, I love being around people and experiencing life with people.
Why do you work at a church?
Because I couldn't get into law school. Just kidding. I decided that I didn't want to go to law school. After college. there were many things that I still wanted to experience. The two things that came up over and over was working with people and a desire to serve God.
Summer 2006 I felt God speaking to me about change, but at the same time, I didn't know exactly what to do. Long story short, I realized God was calling me into the church. Now I can't imagine doing anything else.
Why should I check out Temple?
Because like many other churches, the living God is manifesting himself in relationships here. I promise you, there is not a drought of people at Temple that want you to feel at home.
