Josue Balbino, Worship Minister josuebalbino@gmail.com |
My real name is hard to pronounce in English, but you can call me Joshua and everything will be fine.
It happened to me to be born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, so long ago... on Nov.18.1952, in a Christian family. My dad and mom were blessed to be born in Christian family as well.
On Set.01.1980 I got married to Fatima and God gave me a wife and my oldest daughter at the same time, I mean, my stepdaughter Bianca. It was a doubled blessing. As the years were passing by God gave us Talita and Raphael Tito.
Today our family is bigger because Bianca got married with Josue Valandro Jr., who is a Baptist Pastor in Rio de Janeiro, and they have two boys: Lucas, 9, and Gabriel, 5 years old.
Talita got married with Luis Fernando in August 2006 and are still waiting for the right time to be blessed with children.
Raphael Tito is looking forward to get married by the end of 2008 with his adorable fiancee Gisele.
I'm so blessed to see my children in love with God and serving Him wherever they are now. Alleluia!
Back in August of 1996, my wife, Talita, Raphael Tito and I came to the US to attend a call from God to serve Him at one of the few Brazilian church in the San Francisco Bay Area as its Music Minister. After more than 5 years God called us to move on and we went to another Brazilian church, the First Brazilian Baptist Church where I served in the same position for 5 1/2 years.
During this last ministry I got to know Pastor Greg when the Brazilian congregation started using the Temple Baptist Church facilities as a place to worship. It was a blessing to be around Pastor Greg and TBC family.
After leaving the Brazilian church, Pastor Greg and I met and talked and prayed many times about the possibility to become partners in the ministry, and God gave me this opportunity to serve Him at TBC, even though I'm sure this has nothing to do with my abilities or credentials, but it is all about God's desire to have us here to accomplish his good will. Blessed be the name of the Lord!
I thank God so much for giving me such a privilege and honor to be the Temple Baptist Church Worship Pastor.
Come to visit us and worship together.
God bless you!
