LIFE Communities (LC) provide people an opportunity to experience authentic Christian community. God is the center of our LC and people make up their heart. It is our belief that people have been created to belong to a loving, caring, supportive, correcting, and fun community. Don’t you agree?

The people that make up LC experience the opportunity to give and receive. Community members have the opportunity to share life together. They really like sharing food and fun. They also share prayer, encouragement, and support. Part of an authentic community is drama. Each LC experiences drama from time to time. We believe that is part of living too. In short, LC are not perfect. BUT, they area designed to be authentic and God centered.

LIFE Communities provide the opportunity to learn from each other. Each person has gifts and abilities, which over the course of time, they share with community members. You should so try Cynthia’s Screaming Peanut Butter Cookies or Al’s pain free eyebrow plucker.

On a little more serious note, during LC gatherings, members share from their LCJ (LIFE Community Journal). During the week, LC members read a portion from the Bible and journal about it. LC journaling is a key and vital part ofcommunity life. There are awesome reports floating around TBC about this activity. Grab a LCJ sheet, or download one from our website, to get started.

There are two ways to join a LIFE Community.

  1. Contact a LC Shepherd and go to their next gathering.
  2. Contact Kim and ask her your questions. If you want to join a LC, she will have a shepherd contact you.
